Before I put pieces in the kiln, I wipe the surface with a damp sponge to get rid of any fingerprints or weird extremities. I do this for every single piece. It can be oddly satisfying so I decided to record it this time while the sun was hitting just right in my makeshift studio. In this stage, the clay has dried but it’s still very fragile so I have to be gentle (though it doesn’t look that way.) I’m also missing some tools to get into those little nooks and crannies. I’ll do some touch-ups when I get back into my studio. _ This also happens to be the exact April Giveaway mug. Can’t wait to see who will win!! There is still time to submit your name to be entered into the giveaway.
